About Dominion Properties

Dominion Properties Virginia was established in 2001, and is active in property management in the Greater Richmond area. Since our beginning, our focus has expanded from primarily managing rental homes for ourselves, to also offering our property management services to select contract clients.

Since our inception, we have strived to maintain our "hands-on" approach to management that has been a cornerstone of our success. During all phases of project management, we are present to review and revise project goals, evaluate work completed, and provide day-to-day direction. This "hands-on" method continues to serve us well.

In 2003, we were selected for membership in the Richmond Apartment Owners Association (RAOA). In 2007 a member of our company was selected to serve on the Board of Directors for the organization. We are very pleased to have been awarded the honor to serve.

In 2004, we were reviewed and accepted for membership in the National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM), which is a nationally recognized organization that is premier in the industry. This was a significant stepping stone in our growth as a company.

Following in 2005, we were accepted for membership in the National Apartment Association (NAA), along with our local chapter The Virginia Apartment Management Association (VAMA).

Though we are a relatively new company, our family has been involved in property management and development since 1973. Since establishing ourselves in Richmond, we have concentrated on developing our property management program specifically for the individual investor. By offering our services to a select segment of the market, we can customize our services specifically for each client, and provide the personal service that each client deserves.

Our goal at Dominion Properties is to provide quality, well-maintained homes for individuals and families within the Greater Richmond area. Our emphasis for the last few years has been to offer single family homes in desirable neighborhoods, which offer outstanding schools and shopping within a few minutes drive from each property. We are now working to expand our offerings to also include condominiums and multi-family properties.

In the last few years we have experienced few vacancies for the properties we have on the market, and we attribute this success to our positive relationship with our tenants. We are not just renting properties to people, but we are building relationships. Specifically, we are building long term relationships.
